There have been many break troughs in online gaming for example 'RuneScape',
playing PC CD's online for example 'Halo' being the best online gaming available
and the most recent playing online games on your PS2 and Xbox. Most new console
games are coming with online capabilities and all PC  games come with online
multiplayer modes but the most popular are played on the internet via another
server like 'RuneScape'  the medieval adventure game (Broadband is essential for
this).
 
 
1st:PC gaming via a CD is by far the best
2nd:cosole gaming comes second
3rd:even though its more popular it's less advanced and most games have poor
